Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan to Reunite in Red Giant Movies Film

However, the actors, who are known to be friends off-screen, were unable to find a good script in order to work together. They had last appeared together in the 1979 film Alavuddinum Athbutha Vilakkum.

Indian cinema is preparing for a once-in-a-generation reunion as screen legends Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth are set to share the screen again in a new feature film, currently identified as “KHxRK,” produced by Red Giant Movies.
Helming the project is Nelson Dilipkumar, whose 2023 blockbuster “Jailer” – starring Rajinikanth – cemented his reputation as one of Tamil-language cinema’s most commercially formidable directors.
